MIT Music & Theater Arts

Web Design & Development · Higher Education
THE CHALLENGE

One stage for two disciplines

MIT’s Music and Theater Arts departments each had separate websites, but shared a common mission: to showcase the extraordinary work of their students, faculty and programs, and to engage a diverse range of audiences.

We designed and developed a unified website that brings both departments together under a cohesive visual identity, while integrating with the broader MIT ecosystem.

THE SOLUTION

A unified, modern platform for music and theater arts

We designed and developed a new website that brings both departments together with a cohesive user experience and integrated MIT services. The site brings programs, people and performances into one destination, with training and documentation to help staff manage content after launch.

THE IMPACT

A stronger presence for the performing arts

The new website provides a single, unified destination for music and theater audiences, students, faculty, alumni and donors, helping to elevate the visibility and impact of the performing arts at MIT.

Unified Audience Experience

One destination for programs, people and performances across both departments.

Increased Visibility

A shared platform to showcase MIT’s musicians, performers and creators.

Stronger Connections

One resource for students, faculty, alumni, donors and the broader community.
